November 29, 2017, Denver, CO – Platte River Equity (“Platte River”) announced today that Andrew J. Gustin has joined as Principal, Head of Business Development. Mr. Gustin comes to Platte River following the raising of the firm’s $625 million fourth fund, which closed earlier this year.
Mr. Gustin brings more than ten years of experience as a private equity investor and business development professional. He will lead Platte River’s sourcing, marketing and business development efforts.
Prior to joining Platte River, Mr. Gustin was with Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, Inc. (“HKW”) in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he was responsible for the firm’s deal generation activities, including sourcing new investment opportunities, developing new business relationships, marketing, advertising and managing the firm’s CRM system. Previously, Mr. Gustin was an analyst with Eli Lilly and Company. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Computer Science from DePauw University.
