Owings Mills, MD - Platte River Equity (“Platte River”), a Denver-based private equity firm that makes control investments in leading niche industrial operating companies, including value-added distribution businesses, is excited to announce that Hose of South Texas (“HOST”) has joined its portfolio company TIPCO Technologies (“TIPCO” or the "Company").  HOST is a value-added distributor of industrial and hydraulic hoses, serving the Corpus Christi, TX area since 1978.  The partnership between TIPCO and HOST will result in a total of 31 locations across 15 states.  This strategic move will expand TIPCO’s presence in the dynamic Texas markets, further establishing the Company’s presence in the region.
