Recent Promotions
Platte River Equity is pleased to announce the promotions of three of its team members, Lauren Metz, Max Bastian and Abha Mahadik.

Lauren Metz, Vice President of Business Development
Lauren joined the Platte River Equity business development team in 2018. Prior to joining Platte River, Lauren worked at the Boston Consulting Group, a global management consulting firm, and had previously been a member of the private equity team at Harvard Management Company in Boston, Massachusetts.
Lauren graduated with a B.S. in Business from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont.
Maxwell Bastian, Senior Associate
Max joined Platte River Equity as an Associate in 2020. Max was previously an Analyst in the Energy Services & Equipment Group at Simmons & Company, where he focused on M&A advisory and capital markets transactions.
Max attended the University of Texas, where he received a B.B.A. in Finance.
Abha Mahadik, Fund Manager
Abha Mahadik joined Platte River Equity in 2020. Prior to joining Platte River, Abha was a Senior Tax Associate in a private equity focused group at a nationally recognized public accounting firm.
Abha received a B.S. in Accountancy and a B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Recent Team Additions
Platte River has expanded its team with the additions of Steve Emanuelson, Ryan Brameier, Maximo Gonzalez, and Caleb Allison.
Steve Emanuelson, Vice President of Finance
Steve joined Platte River Equity as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining the firm, Steve was a Fund Manager at KSL Capital Partners. Previously, Steve was a Senior Fund Accountant at General Atlantic, and he started his career with JPMorgan Chase & Company in the Private Equity & Real Estate services group.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. in Accounting and minor in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ryan Brameier, Senior Accountant
Ryan joined Platte River Equity as a Senior Accountant. Ryan was previously a Fund Controller at Standish Management LLC, a provider of fund administration services for managers and general partners of various investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, real estate and fund-of-funds.
Ryan received a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College.
Maximo Gonzalez, Associate
Maximo joined Platte River Equity as an Associate. Prior to joining the firm, Maximo was an Analyst in the Food & Agriculture Group at Rabobank, where he focused on M&A advisory and capital markets transactions.
Maximo attended the University of Texas, where he received a B.B.A. in Finance.
Caleb Allison, Associate
Caleb joined Platte River Equity as an Associate. Caleb was previously an Analyst in the Energy Services & Equipment Group at Citi Investment Banking, where he focused on M&A advisory and capital markets transactions.
Caleb attended Texas A&M University, where he received an M.S. in Finance and a B.B.A. in Accounting.
