Platte River Equity Team Update

Platte River Equity is pleased to announce the promotions of two of its team members, Tarun Kanthety and Lauren Metz.

Tarun joined Platte River Equity in 2016, was an Associate for three years and returned to the firm in 2021 as a Vice President after receiving his MBA.  He focuses on investment across the firm’s target sectors.  Prior to joining Platte River Equity, Tarun was an Analyst in the Energy Services & Equipment Group at Simmons Energy, where he focused on M&A advisory work and capital market transactions. 

Tarun holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas.

Lauren joined the Platte River Equity business development team in 2018 and leads the firm’s deal sourcing, business development and intermediary relationship management efforts.  Prior to joining Platte River Equity, Lauren worked at the Boston Consulting Group and had previously been a member of the private equity team at Harvard Management Company.

Lauren graduated with a B.S. in Business from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont.
